PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT

Linda Meerveld is accredited with the College by the Certification of Canadian Professional Ergonomists (CCPE), and registered by the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario. She is highly skilled in analyzing worker-workplace interfaces, and developing tools and programs for a wide range of industries across Canada. Linda has consulted successfully in such areas as technology, airports, manufacturing, oil and gas, automotive, health care, public service, newspaper and forestry for both the office and industrial settings.  She has serviced companies of various sizes throughout Alberta, Ontario, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan in ergonomic risk assessments, equipment and tool design, training in risk identification and assessment, and physical and cognitive demands analysis.

Linda’s working knowledge ranges from analyzing body mechanics, cognitive psychology, task processes and design to the development of corporate programs and policies in ergonomics, human factors, health, safety and wellness. Experience gained from working in disability management clinics, including the Worker Compensation Board Alberta, and numerous industries has provided her with a broad base in disability management to help resolve return to work issues. Linda is able to take complex issues and systematically organize them into smaller units, and in so doing, is able to present the most innovative solutions to Ergo-Dimension’s clients.
